Computerized Dynamic Balancing

HTML Template

All propellers are statically balanced when manufactured or properly repaired. Dynamic balancing uses a special machine to rotate the propeller and measure the amount of imbalance. In general, dynamic balancing insures the amount of imbalance is kept to a minimum or within a specified tolerance.

Balance & Precision

If your prop requires dynamic balancing, take it to Tri County Propeller Service where our professional prop techs will use a multi-place dynamic balancing analyzer to analyze the amount of torque in the planes of motion at top speeds. It is a very precise machine that takes a lot of skill and training to understand.

A prop that is not balanced in rotation will cause severe cavitations while underway. The vibrations can damage the engine or other mechanical parts, as well as create a very uncomfortable ride.
